Here at Tachyon, we play with problems that are interesting and challenging, and we also believe in rolling our own solutions. Combine the two, and the latest thing to come out is Teamtalk - a whole new look at instant messaging for technical teams. We have been using this internally for a few months, and now it has been publicly launched!
While we do have the usual features you would expect to find in corporate IMs, we also have a bunch of cool new features that will make the lives of developers much easier: automatic source code highlighting, screen capture and sharing, remote desktop integration, and p2p connections when possible.
